Who we are

Restate Oy (Y-tunnus 2254356-7), Pispalan valtatie 15 C, 33250 Tampere, Finland, is the controller of the personal data collected through restate.fi.

What we collect

Only what you type into the contact form: your name, your email address and your message.

The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Fonts and images are served from restate.fi itself.

Why we use it

To read and answer your message, and to handle any work that follows from it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).

Where it goes

• The form sends your message to our inbox by email. It is not stored in a database on the website.
• The site and the form are run on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site, protect it from abuse and limit repeated form submissions.
• Cloudflare may process data outside the EU. Such transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

We do not sell your data or use it for marketing.

How long we keep it

For as long as it is needed to handle your enquiry and any business relationship that follows. Messages that do not lead to work are deleted within two years. Where a message becomes part of our accounting records, Finnish accounting law sets the retention period.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. To do so, send us a message.

You can also complain to the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto), tietosuoja.fi.
